After eating one piece of this cake I'm sure you'll want another one.

Ingredients:

130g  butter 
170g dark chocolate
6 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
16 oz canned pitted sour cherries…drain (or one large jar)

Method:

 Preheat oven to 350oC. Melt the butter and chocolate together. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until light; add the butter chocolate mixture, and continue mixing, add the vanilla. Stir in the flour and salt. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the mixture into a buttered 10” spring-form pan, and sprinkle the drained cherries on top.

Bake at 350 for 55 minutes
